Again, I’ve been using both traditional paper coupons and online coupon codes for years now and I feel that I have mastered it! Lets begin!

1. Always Try to Use More Than One Coupon Per Purchase

I have actually been in line behind someone at a department store and had to wait 14 minutes for them to decide which coupon they wanted to use towards their purchase. I knew the store had just released new coupons, in fact, I had those coupons in my hand. I looked down and there was nothing that led me to believe that you couldn’t use all of them at once. Once the clerk rang up my purchases, I handed her all of the coupons that I had. She rang them all in and I saw the price drop with each coupon. They all worked! That lady that was in front of me missed out on saving a ton of money because she simply didn’t pay attention to her coupons or realize that they could be used at the same time. The moral of the story, always try to use more coupons than you think will work. Sometimes you will be rejected and the store will only accept one coupon, but a lot of times you will take advantage of additional savings!

2. Pair Manufacturer Coupons with Store Coupons

Now this tip only really applies to those of you who use traditional printed coupons. Often times, both the manufacturer of a product and the store who sells that product will issue coupons for that same product. This is a pay day for you because you can use both coupons at the same time and sometimes even get the product for free! Now thats what we like to hear – right? Yes, always search for manufacturer coupons online or look for them in the newspaper. See what types of coupons the store is offering and if they match the manufacturer coupons you’ve found. Once you do this effectively, you’ll be addicted!
